Alaska’s beauty and silence give room for great inspiration and exploration. The power of the ice and fire represented by Glacier Bay and the ring of active volcanoes leaves one attempting greatness through their human endeavors. Since I’m a writer I try to convey the emotional experience of seeing a beauty so awesome it leaves me breathless, but I falter at the depth of such a task. Still, I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity.
